Lake Kariba

Lake Kariba is the world’s largest artificial lake and reservoir by volume, and Siavonga is one of the main Zambian cities next to it.

Siavonga

Siavonga is often called the Riviera of Zambia, with lakeside views, fishing activity, and a slower holiday atmosphere. It is around 3 hours from Lusaka.

Kariba Dam

Built between the 1950s on the Zambezi River, Kariba Dam is important to electricity generation in both Zambia and Zimbabwe.
